Particle Measurement Programm - PMP
The Particle Measurement Programme (PMP) is an international activity of several countries and was established under the auspices of the UNECE/GRPE to develop a new system for measuring ultrafine particles emitted from heavy and light duty vehicles, which could replace or complement the existing particulate mass measurement system. The main driver behind PMP is the impact of particles on human health. The PMP has no medical expertise and does not seek to pre-judge the advice that may emerge from medical experts with respect to the most crucial particle characteristics affecting human health.
